This place would be perfect for families trying to escape from the bustling city life because it is SO QUIET. I almost forgot to mention how cool the nights are! You can see the twilight sky from the rooftop, and we were lucky enough to see flashes of lightning despite it not raining at all. The next time I’m in the area, I will come here. Thanks Beth 🙂

The house is full of amazing details, wonderful pieces of art and unique décor, we loved it.I will definitely come back again, even if it’s a very long travel for me. House was equipped with everything we needed to cook dinner, we spent rest of our time on the roof, enjoying the sunset and stargazing. Very unique place, great escape from busy city life and tourists crowds in canyons.

I highly recommend Beth place where you can live out of space and time. So quite and beautiful. the sky at night was beyond expectation; breathtaking, really, it was the first time for me to see more than 7 shooting stars in one night. Beth is a real artist and her work is original. LOVE IT. My family had the best time ever and Im so thankful to that.

Probably the quietest place I have ever been. The roof top patio was amazing and if you bring a mesh tent you can sleep out there and stare at the stars.

If you love to escape your urban hecticness, do not hesitate to check into this property and make your way to the upper deck to seize an incredible nap at sunset. Quilts and pillows are stashed for perfect comfort.

It’s a beautiful place if you like to stay disconnected while on your vacation. Highly recommend spending time on the roof stargazing,  or even sleeping there. Some of us did that.

Beth and her CoBe Mountain cabin are amazing! Our visit was brief but well worth the trip. The cabin is spacious, clean, and gorgeous. Staring at the stars from the rooftop deck was…indescribable. Beth is such a warm, kind woman, that I really felt like we were visiting a friend. Her house is not far from the cabin, and she was there to greet us when we arrived (despite our delays). She also gave us a tour of the treehouse, which I plan to stay in on my next trip. If you want a truly beautiful and relaxing experience, stay here!

If you are looking for the perfect spot to get away and recharge, this is the place for you. Beth and her mountain welcomed us with open arms and open heart. It was almost like coming home. We couldn’t have asked for a better host.

Elizabeth’s home is an ideal retreat location. It provided a place to completely unplug and enjoy nature. There’s a star deck that’s absolutely perfect if looking up to the stars with a 360 view w/o light pollution is what you’re into! 5/5 would recommend! Already planning a trip back.

The place is absolutely ideal for this.  Zero light pollution, and a magnificent deck on top of the house for ideal viewing from horizon to horizon.  Our visit was in November and so it was cool – -maybe cold.  The house was warm and really comfortable.  We carried our Meade 200 telescope up to the deck on top of the house, and we had excellent viewing for two nights.

Amazing experience for anyone wanting to get away from it all! A restful evening under the stars makes you want to go to bed early to wake up to it all again!  Beth was an amazing host who made you feel welcome to her elements. Would stay again and highly recommend! Would be nice to have a tv with DVD player to watch a movie before bed!

Wow! Beth’s place was incredible. She was an amazing host, and the location was incredible. From the scenic sunrise to the start night sky, everything was amazing. We stayed at the end of December, it was about 14 degrees F outside but very warm inside.  If you are looking for a place, stop looking and book here.

The most peaceful stay where nature actually overpowers everything. This is the perfect hidden gem for anyone and everyone who is trying to getaway, my favorite part was gazing at the stars from the balcony and feeling like I had them on my very own ceiling ❤️

Above & beyond hospitality, views, comfort, & beauty! My husband and I stayed here for what we intended to be an overnight stay (on the night of the biggest winter storm AZ has seen in years). The initial night was very intimate & cozy! However we woke up to at least 2 feet of snow and ended up getting our truck stuck about a mile from the cabin. Luckily, Beth had availability that night and we were able to ride our quads back to the property to stay another evening.

If you’re looking to get off the grid and away from the city, I highly recommend you book a stay at Beth’s CoBe Mountain Retreat! Her cabin is spacious, clean, tranquil, and has a great view from the rooftop deck overlooking the surrounding area. The views at sunset and at night are amazing. To top it all off, Beth is also one of the friendliest and most accommodating hosts I’ve ever met.

Very relaxing and memorable experience I had here. I watch the stars on the roof deck and seen a shooting star. I had a view of a volcano in a distant. Grandma Beth gifted my son a 1000 year old arrow head she found on her land. Wonderful host. It wasn’t jus a vacation I spent here, it was a trip of a lifetime. Beth’s house is amazing! It is the best place to go and unwind and be with your thoughts. A great place to BE with you friends/family. The rooftop deck at night is absolutely beautiful, we saw the Milky Way and a couple of shooting stars.

Elizabeth’s cabin is remote and disconnected, exactly what we wanted! Elizabeth was a great host–very welcoming, communicative, and kind. The cabin was great, and it was so nice to not have TV or internet to distract us from our family. We enjoyed our time immensely, in easy driving distance to the Grand Canyon and other local hotspots. The best part of the cabin was easily the deck/platform on the roof for staring at the stars and watching the sunset/rise, you’ve got to see it to believe it! Just make sure you’ve got an SUV with decent ground clearance to handle the last bit of the dirt road. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The star gazing is amazing. No light pollution allows for amazing views. The views in the daytime of the mountains are also great. Elizabeth was very nice and a lovely host. The house has some great touches stylistically to it and is definitely off-the-grid. The road to the house is a bit rough, but worth the drive!

Elizabeth’s place is spectacular! My father and I loved walking the grounds and taking in the beautiful scenery. We made a point to take advantage of the widows walk to enjoy the stars every night. Lots of shooting stars!

Elizabeth is absolutely wonderful. She is very easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful in guiding you to the property. She met me and my dad there and walked us through the way her very special property operates 🙂

The house is so comfortable with beautiful touches all around. Elizabeth is a very talented artist, and it was such a pleasure to see her work throughout the house! I highly recommend staying in this special property.

Where do I begin?! Wow, just wow! I’ve stayed in isolated Airbnbs before and those completely off the grid but this one handsdown is the most incredible I’ve ever stayed in! Most vehicles made for offroading should be fine getting up. But once you’ve made it, boy have you made it! 10/10, I’ll never forget this place and would love to venture back to Arizona to spend more than a single night here! A must if you’re up for something completely unique about 2 hrs from heart of Grand Canyon.

We had so much fun at Elizabeth’s place. It’s a very nice and stylish house. We had a great view of sunrise and Milky Way on the rooftop! Elizabeth provided extra blankets to keep us nice and warm for watching the stars. Would recommend it to our friends.

Lemme just start by saying i just spent a magical evening under the stars, in the middle of nowhere, an experience which initiated a wave of transformation within me. After spending one evening, now that am leaving i wish i had been here for longer.

eth’s place is incredible. It is in the middle of a juniper forest surrounded only by blue skies and distant mountains. My friends and I immensely enjoyed the spacious comfortable house, the rooftop deck (where we stargazed for hours after nightfall) and the pure silence that reigns over her property. Both sunset and sunrise provided spectacular views. It was the best AirBnB experience I have had in a long time and I cannot wait to come back. To top it all off, Beth and her daughter went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get to the property safely. Her hospitality was really remarkable and I can’t recommend the Mt Retreat enough! Just wish I could have stayed longer!

What a breath of fresh air! This place is exactly what my young family needed. The simplicity allowed us to focus on each other and nature. The property had everything we needed to be comfortable which says a lot when you have a 6 month old and two five year olds. Our host was very communicative in making sure our needs were met. We can’t wait to stay again!

Our trip to CoBe mountain was nothing short of magical; The cabin is both cozy and spacious (you can tell it was built with love). The space is tastefully decorated and we admired all the personal touches. The rooftop is a true treasure when it comes to stargazing – this feature was a highlight of the AirBnb. To top it off, we had the best sleep we’ve had in a long time!! Beth is super communicative and we immediately felt a connection with her.

This was the second time i stayed at CoBe and this time i got an opportunity to get 4 of my friends to experience what i did and ever since they stepped inside CoBe not only that they haven’t stopped thanking me for getting them here but they have been already planning on returning here just so that their friends and family experience the same.

And after charging ourselves with the healing energy that fills the entire house we packed our bags and wished that we could stay longer.

For anyone who needs some healing energy or just to soak some of the twinkling stars, don’t look further and book CoBe, it’s a transformational experience away from the city.

If you are looking for a remote kind of but not too much “off the grid” location, this is the spot!! It is very, very peaceful and so beautiful.  We were able to disconnect and just be present.

Beth is honestly one of the sweetest people I know! Her home is BEAUTIFUL. It’s extremely remote and has some dirt roads to get through, but she is there willing to help you get in and settled! I came with my 82 year old grandmother and her 80 year old boyfriend, and she came extra early in the morning to meet us to bring them in her jeep to the car so they wouldn’t have to walk. We LOVED the beautiful natural wood the home is made out of, the lighting, and the coziness. It was cold and took a while to warm up, but the beds are nice and snuggly! I just wish we had more time here; definitely coming back!

This was the third time i stayed, and all i got to say is the shooting stars and the show thousands of twinkling stars and shooting stars present is incredible. When i reached it was pretty cloudy but it all cleared up and made a beautiful show of fireworks!

Plan here without a doubt, and feel the transformation.

Gorgeous house on top of a private mountain. Elizabeth, the host, goes out of her way to make sure you find it easily n that you’re comfortable. My family went up for Mother’s day. It’s a great location to get family members together. Plenty of space for everyone, a rooftop deck to stargaze, and hiking in every direction. If you ever have dreamed of having a custom built house on your own mountaintop, this is the place to stay.

As I sit down to write a review for Elizabeth, CoBe Mountain, and the entire experience, I just want to be very clear: no amount of words can put into perspective the true magick and spiritual growth that I experienced during my stay.

I can’t say that everyone will have that type of connection to the experience, the land, and Beth, because we both know that the Universe and Divine Unity brought us together because we have a VERY special purpose to accomplish together on this planet. However, anyone who comes here will be held accountable: by Beth, by nature. if you dont want to step into healing or a new light, even if you’re here for a day, this place may be a little intense for you. The heat is cleansing, the sunsets and sunrises are next to uncomparable, and the night sky of stars and moon is something you dont realize the power of until you experience it here.

Beth changes your life for the better whether you realize it at the time or not. I could talk about this place, this woman, this everything forever. She is an angel of the ether. Our relationship can’t be defined. It was nothing but a Unity of the Divine. I love you more than anything in the world Beth.

This is truly the best off grid home I have ever seen. The house is fantastic and kept very clean. Beth is an amazing person who communicates very well and is willing to go the extra mile for her visitors. (Literally) Beth is a unique person and part of the experience. She taught us a lot about living off solar and how to properly conserve water in an off grid situation. Her property is amazing, filled with big views of the surrounding valley and wildlife all around.  Sunsets and sunrises on the third story viewing deck are one of a kind.

The home’s decorations and many house plants add to the tranquil setting and overall peaceful feel of the property.

Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy some time away from the city. The star gazing on the top deck was incredibly epic. We saw breathtaking shooting stars every 10-20 mins that were simply unbelievable. Grandma Beth is an epic host of unparalleled proportions. She loves what she does and it shows. First off let me say , omg ! This home is amazing ! I just kept saying how beautiful it was . In the middle of no where, peace and quite to the max . Beth met us at the front gate , showed us around ,it was like we’ve known her forever .

If you are in need of a quiet and peaceful place to recharge your spirit and disconnect, this is the place for you. This relaxing and beautiful house is off the grid and beaten path

I booked this place with three of my friends, looking for a break from the hustle of life, and an opportunity to disconnect and relax. However, we were in for so much more than we ever could have expected in this stay, and gained so much more than just a couple days without having to respond to work emails (no wifi means no “emergency” work calls or guilt about stargazing instead of answering emails).

About the house: It is beautiful, relaxing, well kept, clean, with peaceful energy and gorgeous decorations and plants. Our favorite places were the front porch and the rooftop deck, where we had unbelievable views of the stars and milky way. Reminder that the house runs on solar panels and trucked-in water, so it does require respect and consideration for these limited resources.

The four of us walked away feeling recharged, awakened, and so much more connected to ourselves and our hearts, in a way that many people pays thousands of dollars for a fancy spiritual retreats. Beth is a rare gem, and impossible to summarize in an online review, so I encourage you to find out for yourself.

Your expectations will be exceeded. Beth has a beautiful home and a heart of gold. Sleeping under the stars on the roof deck was an experience that will be savored until next time. The silence, safety, stargazing deck and Beth’s hospitality are all exceptional.

From the moment I stepped foot on Mt. Cobe I knew I was in a sacred space. I immediately felt an inner connectedness, an ease, safeness, and familiarity that felt like home. Beth’s directions made it a breeze to find and she was there to so graciously welcome us upon our arrival. I can’t stress enough the importance of an appropriate vehicle, clear communication and arriving on time. It’s imperative for your safety and peace of mind for all parties. Once settled in, we melted into the serenity of our surroundings. We enjoyed hiking, star gazing, reading, music and meditating. It was a short getaway but a vacation in every sense of the word. If you’re looking for an opportunity to relax, release, reset, and reconnect, book it!!!

If you’re looking for a place to disconnect from EVERYTHING, then this is your spot. Grandma Beth is an amazing host and really goes out of her way to make you at home. I ended up spotting a dozen meteors and meteorites in an hour! Will definitely visit again.

To say that Grandma Beth is the best would be the understatement of the millennium. She is warm, welcoming, and kind in every way. Her mountain property is breathtaking beyond description. Loved our stay at Beth’s place.  It it an excellent place to reflect and relax from our busy daily lives.  Beth was an amazing and welcoming host.  The house is beautiful however Beth’s soul can’t compare.  Her spirituality is  indescribable. No other host will take care of you as Beth.  She is a super host, and a shooting star.  This place is truly magical.

My husband and I wanted to get off the grid on our honeymoon, and Grandma Beth’s lovely retreat in the mountains was incredible. Getting there was a bit of an adventure even in our mid-sized SUV, but we loved the quiet cottage for hanging out without the distractions of technology that we are used to, and it was a great home base for a day trip to the Grand Canyon. The place has an awesome energy, and if you want to get away for a bit, I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We loved staying at Grandma Beths home. The location of the house was beautiful! Very secluded, so if you are looking for a getaway from the chaos of the city and want to breathe fresh air this is a great place to stay at. The actual home was breath taking. I do not think I have ever seen such an interesting cabin/ house. The accommodations were amazing as well, everything a house could need was there and more (a star gazing book for you to take out to the rooftop at night, a must do).

CoBe Mountain is WAY more than a place to stay. This experience is an absolute adventure with a warm hug. The house is cozy and beautiful with all the right touches (a lot of things in the house were made from wood/trees from the area) but it’s the calm, the stars, the sunset & sunrise along with Beth’s energy that make this place special.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at Grandma Beth’s for a second time in as many months.  The house is beautifully built, with handcrafted touches from the local juniper forest. It has copious sunlight and the upstairs area is especially cozy.  My daughter adored the juniper bunk bed as well as the coloring books featuring Granda Beth’s art. All in all, a fantastic way to unplug for a few days.

This house is beyond beautiful! Everything about it is absolutely amazing! If you like taking a break from life I would recommend coming here. Sadly I only stayed one night and I wish I could have been more but every minute of my time here was more than I can ask for. The host known as grandma Beth is the most amazing person I ever met and I will definitely come back for a longer little vacation!

What a unique and special home Beth has created! Besides incredible views and unique touches throughout the home, the place is spacious enough for even a larger party to find their special nook. Beth was an exceptional communicator and worked closely with us when weather became a challenge with our stay. This was my FOURTH visit to CoBe Mountain, and just like the last 3, I returned as an Updated version of me in terms of wisdom. Cannot be more thankful to Grandma Beth, for preserving this little piece of Heaven on Earth. The environment is just perfect to soak into positive energies and heal yourself. CoBe is a sacred space for me where i will keep returning to reset, recharge, rejuvenate when life gets tough. The stargazing deck reminds me overtime how small our problems are as compared to how Vast the Universe is. The stargazing is PHENOMENAL and you cannot get ENOUGH of the show that shooting stars present. (check stargazing forecast for best time).
